Boss Bot Nest is a private, personal-use application operated by Steve Reich. It is not offered to the public and has no other users.
Boss Bot Nest lets Steve Reich's own AI assistant read and adjust Steve Reich's own Google Nest thermostats at his home, using Google's Smart Device Management (SDM) API. For example, when Steve asks his assistant "set the bedroom to 74," the assistant uses this app to read the current temperature, mode and setpoint and to change the setpoint.
The app requests a single Google permission: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/sdm.service (access to Nest devices shared through Google's Device Access program). It does not request access to email, contacts, files, or any other Google data.
No data is sold or shared with third parties. Read our Privacy Policy.
